Hi I'm Ciara, a psychology researcher. I study body image, self-compassion, eating disorder prevention & youth mental health

About me
 

I am an Assistant Professor of Psychology studying body image interventions for young people at Dublin City University 

I am motivated to understand and identify ways to improve young people's body image

I also lecture health, social and developmental psychology to psychology, nursing, occupational therapy and physiotherapy  students

Outside of research I enjoy hockey, handball & hiking.
